Tubing and lugs are shaped light tight to each bike’s dimensions. The parts are brazed into a frame and fork while staying aligned in a jig. Brazing is a method of joining metal using brass or silver for filler and an oxy-acetylene torch for heat. Brazing is a traditional art that has proven over centuries to be low-impact, reliable, and precise. Our methods promote both precision and personalization:
• All sizing and geometries are custom as the frames are built one at a time.
• Joints are significantly stronger than factory-made bicycles
• Almost any degree of artistic touches is available, depending on budget
Bike are fully prepped before leaving the shop. This includes:
• Sanding until smooth
• Powdercoat or wet-paint finish
• Tapping all threads
• Facing of bottom bracket and headset
• Cutting crown races
• Installing components (upon request)
