08.09.10 -- Now that the decals are in, the base coats were painted and the stickers were applied. The frame is now clear coated and curing. Once fully cured the fame will get finished off with its components.

08.08.10 -- All that is left to do is to oil the cedar platform and install it on his bike.
We just got the decals in from the printer, the frame is primed and ready for paint.
07.29.10 -- We just picked up a Nichols Horizontal Hand Mill, "the mill that uses its head". Its a production style mill with quick lever movement for both the spindle and the cross slide table. It also moves on lead screws for more precise work. After a going over with a toothbrush, it's ready to be powered up. The juice should flow properly once the electrician gives it a look.
07.29.10 -- This bike is being built for Second Life Bikes in Asbury Park, NJ. It will be an urban, beachy commuter with built in racks, internal gearing and brakes, perfect for a gritty city.
